‘Kian84’s Bizarre Inn’ follows the K-pop star in unusual challenges on the island of Ulleungdo; episodes will be released weekly
Fans of BTS singer Jin can now mark their calendars: on April 8, the star debuts as host of the reality show A Pousada Bizarra do Kian84, which hits the Netflix catalog. Alongside artist and illustrator Kian84 and actress Ji Ye-eun, Jin embarks on a unique experience on the island of Ulleungdo, in South Korea, where the trio runs an inn full of unusual facilities, such as a climbing wall and slides that lead straight to the sea.
In the program, the singer takes on various roles, including cleaning, cooking and even small repairs, while helping Kian84 manage the accommodation. Despite the challenges, the artist ensured that he enjoyed the experience.
“I really enjoyed trying something new,” he said at a press conference. He also revealed that the production was chaotic, but in the best sense of the word: “The team is as wild as the title of the show suggests. But looking back, it became a good memory.”
After the premiere, episodes will be released weekly, allowing audiences to follow the trio’s adventures in the eccentric, floating inn of Ulleungdo.
Jin is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actor and dancer. He debuted as a member of the group BTS (also known as Bangtan Boys) in June 2013.
Jin composed and released three solo tracks with the group BTS: “Awake” in 2016, “Epiphany” in 2018, and “Moon” in 2020. All three tracks debuted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. In 2019, Kim released her first independent song, the digital track “Tonight.” He was also featured on the soundtrack for the Korean drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth alongside bandmate V. Kim received critical praise for his falsetto and emotional range as a singer.
