More details about “Boyfriend on Demand”, according to the Netflix summary
Exhausted webtoon producer Mi-rae escapes reality through a subscription-based virtual dating simulation program where she meets the boyfriends of her dreams.
Blending the relatable challenges of daily work life and a never-before-seen virtual reality dating subscription program, Boyfriend on Demand (WT) promises to revolutionize dating.
Jisoo takes on the role of Seo Mi-rae, who longs for a second chance at love in virtual reality. Used to a non-existent love life due to her hectic schedule, Mi-rae receives a ‘Monthly Boyfriend’ device by chance. Upon entering this virtual reality, she finds unrealistically perfect boyfriends, awakening her dormant desires for romance.
Seo In-guk plays Park Kyeong-nam, Mi-rae’s colleague and rival webtoon producer. He is capable and competent at his job, but Mi-rae feels uncomfortable around him. Despite his aloof and cold demeanor, he is a character with surprising secrets, which will certainly awaken emotions in Mi-rae.
