LISA is feeling emotional as she bids farewell to “White Lotus.” Following the series finale, the BLACKPINK star reflected on her first acting gig in an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday (8), writing, “What a journey.”
“Thank you, Mike White, for trusting me to play the role of Mook and bring the character to life,” LISA continued, sharing a series of photos taken on set in her home country of Thailand, where the third season of Max’s hit series was filmed.
“It was an absolute honor to be a part of this series as my first acting gig alongside such incredible talent. I am so proud to be able to share my culture and showcase the beauty of Thailand to the world.”
“Mook has changed my life in a way that I am learning more about myself and my capabilities,” the K-pop star added. “My Sunday nights may be a lot emptier, but I am wrapping up The White Lotus with a full heart.”
LISA’s post comes two days after the final episode of “White Lotus” Season 3 aired on Max. In the series, the “Rockstar” singer played an employee at the hotel chain’s fictional branch in Thailand and starred alongside Tayme Thapthimthong — whose character, Gaitok, had a crush on Mook — in several of her scenes.
LISA’s Next Steps
Now that her first solo album has been released and “White Lotus” has wrapped, LISA is gearing up to reunite with her fellow BLACKPINK members this summer. The girl group is currently working on new music and will embark on a world tour that will kick off in July, marking the quartet’s first outing since their 2022-23 “Born Pink World Tour.”
