In an interview with Los 40 USA, released last Tuesday (08), the Canadian artist revealed an interest in collaborating with the Spanish artist Rosalía and the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny — even without understanding exactly what they sing.
“I’ve always wanted to work with Rosalía. I think she’s one of the best there is — I love her. I’m also a huge fan of Bad Bunny. Every time I listen to his songs, I don’t understand a word he’s saying, obviously [laughs], but the melodies are just great. So, yes, I would love to collaborate with him. He’s really good.”
The singer, songwriter and dancer also commented on the possibility of working with Olivia Rodrigo. She is friends with the American singer and even participated in one of her most recent music videos, “Bad Idea Right?”.
“Olivia and I are very good friends. I love her so much — she’s like a sister. And she’s the best. We haven’t talked about doing a song together yet, but yes, of course I would record one with her. It just has to happen at the right time, [because] I don’t want to force anything — quite the opposite. If the right song comes along, then yes, I would definitely do it.”
It’s worth remembering that, a few days ago, Tate and Olivia were in Brazil. Both were attractions at the Lollapalooza Brasil 2025 festival, held at the Interlagos Racetrack in São Paulo, at the end of March.
Tate Rosner McRae is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and dancer. She rose to prominence when she became the first Canadian finalist on the American reality television series So You Think You Can Dance. She subsequently signed to RCA Records after gaining attention with her debut single, One Day.
