‘Good Boy’ premieres May 31 on JTBC
K-pop group TWS will release their first original soundtrack. The track will be featured in the JTBC drama “Good Boy,” starring Park Bogum and Kim So Hyun.
Slated to premiere on May 31, “Good Boy” follows a special police force made up of former Olympic medalists as they fight against society’s wrongdoings and misconduct.
TWS gained recognition after their debut song “Plot Twist” topped the annual Melon charts and won awards at major music ceremonies in South Korea.
In addition, the group will release their third mini-album, “TRY WITH US,” on the 21st.
The sextet consists of Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin.
TWS is a South Korean boy group formed in 2024, consisting of six members: Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin. Formed and managed by Pledis Entertainment, the group labels their music as “boyhood pop”, which depicts the daily lives of boys. The group debuted on January 22, 2024, with the mini album (EP) Sparkling Blue.
On November 7, 2023, Pledis Entertainment announced their plans to launch a new boy group in the first quarter of 2024. The members were first introduced by Seventeen member Hoshi during the SVT Caratland event in 2023. On December 21, 2023, the group’s name was revealed, TWS, with the agency explaining that the name is derived from the group’s slogan “twenty four seven with us”, which reflects the group’s commitment to maintaining a lasting connection with their fans.
