On Friday night (11), Lisa performed at Coachella 2025 for the first time as a soloist. The Thai singer took the stage two minutes late on the Sahara stage.
Accompanied by a live band, she started the show with projections on the tent’s giant screens and a play of lights — and the first chords of “Thunder”, a track from the album “ALTER-EGO”.
“Fuck Up The World” and “LALISA” followed. To sing “New Woman,” her collaboration with Rosalía, Lisa changed her outfit: from a gray jumpsuit with scales to a Hello Kitty crop top and shorts.
The Cochella broadcast left a lot to be desired. There was a clear delay between the image on YouTube and the sound of the show.
“Chill,” which was produced by Brazilians Tropkillaz, was also on the setlist and brought funk beats to the festival – Anitta’s mission, but the singer canceled her long-awaited show.
In “MONEY,” the audience sang loudly and the artist didn’t hide her happiness at hearing her verses sung by the fans, smiling a lot. A perfect choice for the final stretch of the Coachella show.
For the first part of the performance, Lisa used a lot of playback. Did she want to prioritize the choreography? Nervousness?
Afterwards, from the middle of the show until the end, she did the opposite and sang fearlessly – with highlights for “Dream” and “Born Again,” her collaboration with Raye and Doja Cat.
Lisa grew throughout the performance, loosening up and becoming more comfortable on stage with each song. “Lifestyle” and “Rockstar” closed the setlist (great choice!).
“See you next week,” she said, before leaving the stage.
