K-pop group performs for the first time at California festival and wins rave reviews from the crowd
ENHYPEN debuted at Coachella in style. The K-pop group performed at the festival for the first time in the early hours of Sunday (13).
Accompanied by a band, the members began the performance with the energetic “Blockbuster”, complete with break dancing.
Right from the first verses, the audience’s voice stood out in the live broadcast of the show on YouTube, singing at the top of their lungs. ENHYPEN, in fact, sang live throughout the show, aided by a backing track in the background of the songs, almost imperceptible.
The setlist included the septet’s greatest hits: “Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)”, “Blessed-Cursed”, “No Doubt”, “Sweet Venon”, “XO”, “Drunk-Dazed”, among others.
Formed by Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Niki, the group debuted in 2020.
The members made the Coachella stage their natural habitat – they delivered an impeccable performance without stopping having fun, proving the musical and performance quality that K-pop is capable of creating.

Enhypen is a South Korean boy group formed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between entertainment companies CJ ENM and HYBE Corporation. Formed through the 2020 survival reality show I-Land, the group consists of seven members: Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. Enhypen debuted on November 30, 2020, with the extended play (EP) Border: Day One.
The group’s name, Enhypen, was introduced through the live broadcast of the final episode of I-Land. According to etymology, Enhypen derives its name from the hyphen symbol (-), which creates new meanings, including “Connection, Discovery, and Growth.” Similar to how a hyphen connects different words to discover new meanings, Enhypen aims to “come together to connect, discover, and grow together to create a new act.”
