Months after the release of the album “Happy”, Jin, from BTS, already has a forecast of when he will make a comeback with the release of a new album.
On Monday, the 14th, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that Jin, from BTS, is preparing to make a new comeback as a soloist through the release of a new album. The comeback is scheduled to happen in May.
“Jin is currently preparing for a new album with the goal of releasing it in May. We plan to release details about the comeback at a later date,” a source from the agency said (via Soompi) in a statement.
As a result, this will be Jin’s first release in approximately six months, as the self-proclaimed Worldwide Handsome’s most recent solo project to date is “Happy,” the idol’s first solo album, which was released on November 15, 2024 and features six tracks: “I’ll Be There,” “Another Level,” “Falling,” “Heart on the Window” (feat. Red Velvet’s WENDY),” “I Will Come to You,” and the title track “Running Wild.”
It is worth remembering that “I’ll Be There” was the album’s pre-release track. “I Will Come to You”, which is dedicated to the artist’s fans, became the first song written entirely by Jin, as he explained in an interview.
“When I was serving in the military, I really wanted to go home, work, and meet my fans. So I decided to take advantage of my time and made a huge list of different ideas. And starting the day after I was discharged, I wrote the lyrics for my fan song. It was the first time I had written lyrics for an entire song, but I did it in just a day or two. I put it all into one song. It’s called ‘I Will Come To You.’ I filled the song with my wish. ‘I… will be there soon. I will leave this place soon to come to you, so please wait for me.’ That’s where it all started. 30% of the lyrics are from the ideas I wrote in the military.”
Currently, Jin is starring in the Netflix reality show “Kian84’s Bizarre Inn,” which received its first three episodes on April 8.
